Wasnt it so good? It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say I inhaled it.

And thank you for saying that. I’m gonna be so honest with you, I needed to hear that today 💕

Lots of goodness in here, but I came here to say that I loved “My Old Ass” too! I had a feeling it would be delightful, but was really caught off guard by the tenderness (especially as a 39-almost-40-year old). My partner and I were both 🥹 at the end.

Right?! Oh my gosh, it was so quietly moving while also being DEEPLY felt.

And, same with Jon and I. We both looked at each other at the end and just let out a big exhale. Blubbering--in the best way. I think this one may be a rewatch for me.

Mmmm, so much good watching and listening to add to my list. I like your idea to up the yin yoga at-home practice, I will have to find some good YouTube classes (don't have Peloton). I'm sure Adrienne has a bunch.

Also, the anticipation of your reaction to 'All Fours' is killing me. I need to know your thoughts! Lol. Loved the round up Kaitlyn, have a great week 🩷

Yes, Adrienne has a bunch. I remember one I did with her once where she has you grab a pillow. It's COZY.

hahaha, you're building my anticipation, now. I have it all planned out for a trip in late January, but I may not be able to wait.

I didn’t read Carrie Soto but I have read a lot of TJR- I read Evidence of the Affair most recently about 3 months ago. Shrinking has been on my list to watch because we did enjoy the first season and the chemistry of the cast. My husband and I love Denzel, when I was a 2L in law school we had a 3 month period where we only were watching Denzel movies every Tuesday when I came over the night I didn’t need to do reading -I tend to zone out during battles or action scenes but I also loved Paul Mescal in Normal People and have wondered if we should see this. I saw Moana 2 with my kids last week and it was good, not great.

Memoir wise the most recent one I read was Lyz Lenz’s This American Ex-Wife. I also added Emma Copley Eisenberg’s The Third Rainbow Girl to my TBR list after finishing her book Housemates. I like the Reading is Sexy hat!

I’ve always liked baking more than regular cooking, corn muffins and peanut butter banana muffins are what I have made recently. I have my first friend holiday party this week for book club and I haven’t decided what I’m bringing.

Along the community lines, I’m very interested to see how much time I spend crying when surrounded by 50k Swifties in Vancouver this weekend. I feel like it’s going to be a lot.

I think you'll like season 2 of Shrinking if you liked the first. It's a nice continuation of what they had going, plus more deepening of the characters.

In terms of Gladiator II, if you love Denzel and Paul, it's worth watching. They are both really, really great in it. Denzel in particular was WOW. I still stand by that the violence and gore was hard for me, but there were some great performances.

I NEED to read Lyz's memoir in 2025, for sure (and thank you for the hype around the hat, haha. I need someone on my side!)

I'm so excited (and jealous) for you about to see Taylor this weekend!! I imagine it will be a lot--in so many ways.

I think we would like Shrinking Season 2 based solely on what I’ve seen on socials. Nemat and I rarely go to movies but I think we would love Denzel especially. I bought Godland by Lyz Lenz too! My husband was looking at our bookshelves and reminded me I never read Gabrielle Union’s memoir either. But I’ve made good progress on reading the books on my shelves this year! I can’t believe Eras Tour is so close to over.

so so so so excited for you.

And she changed Long Live lyric to “end of an era!” Ughhh I cried like 10 times. A lot of emotions to unpack but I’m so, so glad I went. Swifties are the best.

Yes, that Marie and Liz interview was also my other favourite in tandem with the Tim Ferris and Liz one! So much richness to the conversation -- the part where Liz talked about money therapy blew my brain open. Love this entire Say More, Kaitlyn ❤️‍🔥

Yes, yes, yes!! That part was really illuminating. I appreciate her being so honest about how she got a bit lost there. Especially when it comes to money, I find that transparency so helpful.

I listened to More recently and I loved it! Memoir is my favorite genre, especially when they're about taboo or stigmatized topics. I'm glad you enjoyed it too! I also got back into kickboxing this year too and though I took two months off, I'm glad to pick it back up later this month and into the new year! It really does do wonders for my rage.

I love us out there just reading memoirs about the taboo and kickboxing to our hearts content <3 <3
