British coming of age story based on graphic novels, it’s so heartwarming and has incredible representation, new season is out Oct 3rd. I recommend the Girls rewatch podcast (duh) and am all in on the romance novels, would love to hear your thoughts on All Fours which has been incredibly buzzy in my friend group slash algorithm. And of course, Sparklemuffin forever. Will be channeling you when I see her live in LA!

Loved this round up! I liked the friendship story in Funny Story as well and enjoyed seeing Daphne learn to create a sense of community in her city. For books themed gifts, last week I was targeted with an “I read a lot but I am so productive” shirt and sent it on as a birthday gift idea!
I did not know Shrinking Season 2 was going to be so soon! It is one of only a few shows my husband and I watch together, we love a more limited series. We mainly watch Jeopardy together every night and I read while he watches sports. He declared to me after the recent Jenn debacle on The Bachelorette where she was forced to watch her proposal that we should quit being members of Bachelor Nation but I still want to give The Golden Bachelorette a chance.
For the rewatch podcast genre- I LOVE Again with This podcast where they watch Dawson’s Creek- Tara Aranio and Sarah D. Bunting of Television without Pity fame are the best and it’s interesting to see how their views have changed since original run. I also liked some eps of the Welcome to the OC one with Rachel Bilson and Melinda Clarke and listened to some of the Laguna Beach one with Stephen Colletti and Kristin Cavallari- when Lauren Conrad came on I listened!
That was Us has been on my list because I loved This is Us but I haven’t added it to my rotation yet.
I love these slice of life round-ups. Always especially love your music recommendations. I've been listening to lots of Zach Bryan lately, but can't handle Pink Skies most days. Hits too close to home! Thank you for the YWA suggestions too. I need to get back into spending some time with Adrienne... I feel like we're BFFs and she doesn't know that but it's okay. Also the pizza and postcards to voters party sounds so fun! What a great idea!
