In this episode of dialoguing, Kaitlyn and her husband talk about the dance of spending time together versus apart in a relationship and how this can relate to long held fears of separation, parental guilt, their differences in chatting with strangers, and Kaitlyn pitches a potentially million dollar idea all within the backdrop of J trying to sell stuff on Facebook Marketplace.
But this morning, I sat on the couch and my son had a movie on. I had one AirPod in my ear listening in to this pod but he felt the quality time from me too.
I was able to add comments on his movie every now and then but I was still able to do what I wanted to do this morning. He’s four now. My favorite age so far. He actually held my hand this morning which was sweet and I was thankful that I was sitting down with him and didn’t miss that opportunity of bonding.
So a special little morning with guys chatting in one of my ears. lol
Anyways, I will definitely try to catch more and I’m a new subscriber!! Still very new to substack. But I really truly like it here.
I can so picture all this. I have a four year old too. Those little hand holding moments are just everything. I feel like my heart is gonna burst.
I’m so glad you found your way to Substack. So far for me it’s been such a warm and emotionally rich place. I hope you’ll find that as well 💕💕 and if not, I do my best to provide that here. So thrilled you’re a part of it and sharing your thoughts!
!!!! ☺️Thank you for listening. I know it’s a slightly weird format—just us talking—but for me, the podcasts I love that are like that are really soothing.
Yea exactly!! And I can be a busy body.

Awe, I really enjoyed this. The voice inflections you guys do sometimes with your relational banter is really sweet + fun.
Easy listen that I couldn’t turn off while going about my morning.
